D&T Corp

Worldwide Sea freight service

We primarily use local shipping for sea freight, therefore any quoted shipping costs are subject to third party pricing.

Sea shipping is mostly used for  medium to large sized packages/freight – things like samples, large tools, molds, etc. We highly recommend reserving any medium to heavy weight items for sea freight/container shipping, as long as time isn’t of essence.

The Details

We do our best to package all items to fit the most compact dimensions that we can manage, while keeping the products safe and intact.

Once done, we immediately notify our clients to the price quoted from our local shipping office/proxy, and if everything is in order, we send the package, and provide a receipt for the cost as soon as we receive it. Nothing is left up for guessing throughout the process, and we’re happy to clarify if anything seems odd at first glance.

Packaged as efficiently as possible for favorable shipping fees, we still make sure to wrap and place all parts and products in padding material, and meticulously check the products individually pre-packaging to make sure everything is up to snuff.

That said if anything happens during shipping that compromises the integrity of parts, we’re just an email or a call away to assist as best we can.

(We can’t guarantee a level of service in behalf of shipping companies, however they have their own set of industry standards in both safety and package handling that they follow rigorously).

If desired we’ll forward the shipping details over to our clients so that they can have a rough idea on how far along the package is from their destination.

We’re always available an email or a phone call away (within our operating hours) in case anything seems off, and we’ll assist however we can in contacting the local shipping office for additional info.

D&T sticks to the industry standard when it comes to payments, wires and transfers are the typical method of payment, providing familiarity and ease of use for clients.

We generally avoid adding any additional steps or payment systems in between as that simply complicates the process.
